Have your say on Europe-wide standards for internships and apprenticeships!
In order to develop a set of Europe wide quality standards for internships and apprenticeships, the European Youth Forum have been working on drafting a European Quality Charter on Internships and Apprenticeships. The drafting process ran in cooperation with the European Trade Union Confederation, Emilie Turunen MEP, Generation Precaire and some of the Forum's Member Organisations - The European Students Union, the Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions and the Romanian Youth Council.
The draft text of the Charter is now available to download here and today marks the opening of the public consultation, in order for it to be further improved. The consultation opens on May 13th and concludes on June 30th 2011.
If you want to have your say on Europe wide guidelines for internships and apprenticeships, then please respond to these questions and send them via an email before June 30th to Santa Ozolina.
Parallel to this drafting process, the European Youth Forum has also launched a big campaign to map the situation of young interns, past and present, in Europe. You can complete the 'Interns Revealed' survey here and share it to as many interns as possible in order for us to paint the most accurate picture of the situation!
